Wonderful canals at Zhuozhuang

The fabulous town Zhuozhuang is located in the county-level city Kunshan, in Suzhou prefecture, 30 kilometer southeast of Suzhou.

It is one of the most famous water townships in the country, noted for the well preserved ancient houses, its cultural background, the elegant watery views and the local customs and traditions.

It is a very popular tourist attraction, and it has been called the “Venice of the East”.
